This role is responsible for the technical management of the SAP Platform system landscape. It ensures that the systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
What's the job
Key Responsibilities / responsibilities
- SAP technical Design, build, test support, Cutover & Warranty support activities across a complex multi-Banners SAP landscape.
- Estimation, planning and completion of assigned work packages.
- Communication of work package status to PM’s escalating issues, risks, exceptions and changes in a timely fashion.
- Ability to lead workshops, kick-off meetings & training sessions.
- Input to Test Strategies and test plans.
- QA work for SAP Technical colleagues.
- Undertake all work in accordance with required technical and quality standards using appropriate methods and tools to achieve well-engineered products that are fit for purpose, reliable, efficient, secure, maintainable and cost effective.
- Take proactive actions to improve quality and pre-empt or prevent production issues.
- Provide input into ongoing development process improvements.
- Be accountable for the identification and resolution of all problems concerned with the SAP Technical Services.
What you'll bring
- A good knowledge of SAP Security, Authorisation & Netweaver areas.
- SAP technical experience.
- Appreciation of Managing technical risks within an operational enviroment.
- Ability to manage own workload, including prioritisation of paralel tasks.
- Experience in the development and configuration of SAP roles and user provisioning
- Experience in a Netweaver project delivery cycle, including performance optimization, maintenance and integration
- Experience in troubleshooting and supporting Go Lives
