What's the job
About the role
We are going through and exciting period of change and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MID/Senior Engineer (Front-end) to join our Software Engineering team. You will work as part of our exciting greenfield tech hub covering all facets of technology.
As a MID/Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with your cross functional team to design and implement new features and products, whilst bringing ideas, energy, and leadership to the table.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high quality software that will delight our customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse user requirements and translate them into testable features.
- Integrate software with monitoring, observability, and support tools
- Implement design patterns to ensure robust and scalable code
- Use GitLab to manage source code, version control, and collaborative development
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Continuously research and stay up to date with new development trends and technologies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals for the applications
What you'll bring
Skills and Experience
- Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React or Vue)
- Advanced mastery of technologies and frameworks like TypeScript, React, Node.js, ES6
- Strong grasp of HTML and CSS & creating maintainable and scalable component libraries
- Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs and exposure to graphQL Federation
- Experience with microservices and event driven architectures
- Experience working with cloud-based solutions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git/Gitlab/GitHub), and source control systems
- Good understanding of RESTful services (JSON) and API Design
- Experience of mentoring and coaching other software engineers
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
