This role sits within the Kitchens team reporting to the Head of Range, with a purpose to develop affordable and sustainable innovation in OEB (Own Exclusive Brands), be more agile in new product development and be more impactful on performance. This role is to work on the Kitchens category.
What's the job
- Build a deep understanding of customer lives and homes, translating insights into short- and long-term strategic plans that drive growth.
- Analyse trends, industry insights, and customer data to identify commercial potential and craft a customer-centric range.
- Lead the identification of opportunities for new products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Oversee OEB projects from concept to delivery, managing cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launches.
- Present OEB strategies to banners, foster collaboration, and build confidence in the proposed ranges.
- Drive sales and margin performance for OEB products, monitoring results and implementing improvement actions as needed.
- Balance OEB success with total category growth across Kingfisher, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
What you'll bring
- Previous industry and product knowledge experience within a retail environment.
- Strategic thinking and vision and the ability to translate that into a strategic plan
- Strong analytical skills to draw insight from a variety of commercial and customer data points and identify trends
- Expertise and the practical application of New Product Development processes
- Strong commercial acumen with an ability to analyse and understand financial data and measure business performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively and maintain relationships within a matrix organisation.
